Josiah

"'For I am the LORD who heals you.”'
Exodus 15:26

Well, Josiah is doing so well!  This morning he was moved off the couch for the first time since Saturday night.  He was put into a wonderful little stroller that our friends, the Schermerhorns offered to give us.  It is absolutely wonderful!  Josiah is very comfortable in it and it is perfect for him and his leg in every way!

We've had so many people help out with Josiah.

Paw-paw and Na-naw were a huge help while Josiah was in the hospital.  They provided food, transportation and Paw-paw helped carry the "big stick" in the hospital while Daddy was gone on Saturday.

Grandma and Grandpa let Lydia and Eden stay over at their house last night so that we wouldn't have to worry about them (and they gave us lots of Thanksgiving leftovers).

Aunt Mae-Mae, Uncle Kevin, Cadence, Justus, and Asher stopped by on Saturday night and brought cookies, candy and a balloon (and a really cute card! ;).

So many people at church have asked about Josiah and have been praying for him...we're so blessed to be in this church family!  (I would try and name them all but there are too many to name.)

The Schermerhorns provided lots of fun toys and coloring books (and candy) that have given Josiah hours of fun.

Mrs. Gaston and Annie stopped by this morning and brought him some toys and Mrs. Huizinga and her family are coming over today.

We've also had numerous friends call and say they're praying for him and hope he gets better soon...

A big thank you go everyone who has been praying and thinking of Josiah!  We are so blessed to have you as friends and family! :)

As you can see, Josiah is his perky usual self today! :)
(Thanks to the Gastons for the glasses! ;)

Here you get a better idea of his cast.  It starts right under his ribs and goes all the way down to his toes.

Wednesday, Lord willing, we're planning on going down to see the Whitsons.  We've been planning on visiting them over Thanksgiving for awhile, and thankfully Josiah is doing so well that we'll probably be able to go still!  We just have to figured out how we're going to transport him! :)

Once again, thank you to everyone for all you've done for us!
Kimber and all the Wassenbergs :) :)

P.S. - Judah rolled over from his belly to his back yesterday...for the first time!  He's such a cute little guy! :)
